GratitudeWhen kids learn to say Alhamdulillah for everything, they start appreciating both big and small blessings like food, toys, shelter, friends, and good health. Gratitude makes them happier and more content with what they have.
Remembrance of Allah (SWT)By saying Bismillah before starting anything (eating, playing, studying, etc.), kids constantly remember Allah’s presence in their lives. This creates a strong bond with Allah from an early age.
Protection from ShytanThe Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that saying Bismillah before eating or entering a house protects us from Shaytan’s influence. Teaching kids to say Bismillah ensures they are spiritually protected.
Good Manners & DisciplineWhen kids learn to say Bismillah before starting any task, they develop self-discipline. They pause, remember Allah, and start with a clear intention. Similarly, saying Alhamdulillah after finishing something teaches them to be grateful.
Pleasing Allah (SWT)Saying Bismillah and Alhamdulillah pleases Allah (SWT). It shows that a person is mindful of their Creator in everything they do, which leads to barakah (blessings) in their actions.
  • Say: “When you say Bismillah, Allah will protect you from Shaytan.”
  • Say: “When you say Alhamdulillah, Allah will give you more blessings.”
  • Remind them that people who remember Allah will enter Jannah (Paradise) easily.
